Norditropin SimpleXx is an injectable drug containing Somatropin which is a synthetic Growth Hormone extracted from human pituitary glands. Bodybuilders and athletes use it to enhance their exercise performance, muscle mass and their immune system. Being primarily an anti-ageing agent it also assists in stimulation of cells growth, inducement of protein synthesis and enhancement of metabolism. The drug also increases both calcium retention and the mineralization of bones and is very important in their strengthening.

A recommended dosage is 8iu for professional bodybuilders, while the general, popular dosage is 4iu per day in average. Older patients are more sensitive to the drug and may require a smaller dosage than younger people. Norditropin Simplexx injections also have certain serious side effects like acromegaly, fluid retention, enlarged breasts in males, painful joints, carpal tunnel syndrome, and liver damage. The medication should not be used if a person: suffers from allergy or is hypersensitive to somatropin, to phenol or to any of the other ingredients of Norditropin SimpleXx, as well as have an acute critical illness like open heart surgery, abdominal surgery, multiple accidental trauma or acute respiratory failure.
